Wicked Kiss (The Realm Enforcers Book 4) by Rebecca Zanetti #review

Rebecca Zanetti’s Paranormal Romance Wicked Kiss is fast passed, action packed, full of fire, witches, enforcers, and even a few vampires.  It will leave you breathless and definitely want and need to read more.

Wicked Kiss released July 4, 2017, and is intended for readers 18 years and older.

My Five Star Review:

Another 5 stars for Rebecca Zanetti!  She does it again in this amazing novel filled with characters from both of her wonderful series, The Dark Protectors and The Realm Enforcers.   I really can’t get enough of these characters and I will definitely keep reading as long as she keeps writing them.

Adam is the smart witch, the strategist, follow Coven 9 rules kind of guy and is put to the test while working to rescue Victoria Monzelle.   Tori, on the other hand, doesn’t trust Adam Dunne and wants nothing to do with him.  Well … that’s what she’s telling herself, her body, on the other hand, wants to be as close as possible to Adam.

The story plot of the series continues with the hunt for the Apollo drug and is filled with action, adventure, and love.  Don’t worry, like all of Rebecca’s books, there is a happily ever after for this amazing couple.

If you are a paranormal lover, then I would highly recommend both of her series.

More About Wicked Kiss

Working as an informant for the DEA, Victoria Monzelle is used to living on the edge. But she’s not a big fan of getting kidnapped. And definitely not by a bunch of bad boy witches with fancy-colored fire to shoot at people. So when Adam Dunne shows up and claims to be a witch enforcer, she’s not going to put her life in his hands based on his word, no matter how smooth and smart and beautifully Irish his words sound. But on the run from a tribunal of witches, she isn’t going to make it far . . .

Before she knows it, Adam’s word is all that stands between her and execution. Sophisticated, just-gotta-ruffle-him Adam has vowed to make her his one eternal mate, wild and unpredictable as she is—to save her from a sentence of certain death. But Tori isn’t interested in being anyone’s pity date. And if they think she’s unpredictable now, they should see what’s coming next . . .

Fuel for Fire is a Contemporary Suspense Action-Packed Romance filled with strong men and equally strong women. fuel for fire

My Five Star Review:

Julie Ann Walker is the Master at story telling and this 10th book in her Black Nights Inc Series is another hit!!  The chemistry between Black Nights Operative Dagan Zoelner and CIA Agent Chelsea Duvall makes it a perfect read for the 4th of July week.  There is nothing better than a good book with a strong male character trying to come to terms with his feelings for an equally strong female.  It is truly a joy to watch these characters work through the chemistry and come out better people in the end.

The action continues with the quest to find out who “Spider” is.   Christian, Emily, and Ace join in on the action and we also get to meet Rusty.   Sparks do a little flying between Ace and Rusty which I’m going to love watching.  The continued sexual tension and banter between Christian and Emily made me laugh quite a few times.  I am very much looking forward to the next book in this series, Hot Pursuit (Christian and Emily’s book)  coming in October 2017.

I would highly recommend Fuel for Fire and the entire Black Night’s Inc. Series.  You will not be disappointed.

More About Fuel for Fire:

A brooding covert operative and a spunky CIA agent discover a burning passion in the next installment of Julie Ann Walker’s red-hot BKI series

Dagan Zoelner has made three huge mistakes
The first two left blood on his hands.
The third left him wondering…what if? What if he had told the woman of his dreams how he felt before his world fell apart?

Spitfire CIA agent Chelsea Duvall has always had a thing for bossy, brooding Dagan. It’s just as well that he’s never given her a second look, since she carries a combustible secret about his past that threatens to torch their lives…

The Queen and the Cure by Amy Harmon #happyreleaseday #fivestarreview

Amy Harmon is taking us back to the land of Jeru in her next novel in The Bird and The Sword Chronicles, The Queen and The Cure releasing today, May 9, 2017.

I would highly recommend you read The Bird and The Sword prior to The Queen and the Cure.  Each book has it’s own main characters and story but to really get the full enjoyment of Jeru, you should read them in order.

I would recommend this series to readers 16 years and older.

The Queen and The Cure, Amy Harmon - Print

Way more than FIVE Star review:

Amy Harmon is an amazing unique storyteller and I’m so grateful and honored to be able to read her words.  The Queen and the Cure was absolute perfection! Amy’s world of Jeru and the people I met along the way are intriguing, heartwarming, wonderful people, who fill your soul with sunshine.  I want to go to Jeru and hang out with each and every one of them.

In this novel, Kjell goes on an adventure over land and sea and discovers a few things about himself that he never knew.  It was wonderful to watch his story and character grow and bloom.  Kjell meets Sasha along the way and her story has a few twists and turns as well.  These two characters pulled me in and took me on a journey I will never forget.  There were moments of laughter, moments of sorrow and most of all moments of love.  I am so looking forward to more adventures from the land of Jeru.

Kjell does a little “singing” along the way and this is one of my favorite songs:  “Heave ho, back we go, the ale is coming to ya.  Heave ho, back it goes, ale is flowing through ya.”

So don’t wait, go out right now and one-click The Queen and the Cure.  I promise you will not be disappointed.

Graphic 01

A glimpse of The Queen and the Cure:

There will be a battle, and you will need to protect your heart.

Kjell of Jeru had always known who he was. He’d never envied his brother or wanted to be king. He was the bastard son of the late King Zoltev and a servant girl, and the ignominy of his birth had never bothered him.

But there is more to a man than his parentage. More to a man than his blade, his size, or his skills, and all that Kjell once knew has shifted and changed. He is no longer simply Kjell of Jeru, a warrior defending the crown. Now he is a healer, one of the Gifted, and a man completely at odds with his power.

Called upon to rid the country of the last vestiges of the Volgar, Kjell stumbles upon a woman who has troubling glimpses of the future and no memory of the past. Armed with his unwanted gift and haunted by regret, Kjell becomes a reluctant savior, beset by old enemies and new expectations. With the woman by his side, Kjell embarks upon a journey where the greatest test may be finding the man she believes him to be.

Wild Ride (Black Knights Inc. Book 9) by Julie Ann Walker

Wild Ride is Ozzie’s book in Julie Ann Walker’s Black Nights Inc. Series and if you’re a fan like I am then you were very much looking forward to this release.  Wild Ride is a Contemporary Suspense Romance filled with strong men and equally strong women. Black Nights Inc. is one of my all time favorite series and must be read in order.

Wild Ride was released on April 4, 2017, and is intended for readers 18 years and older.

My FIVE Star Review:

I have been a fan of Ethan “Ozzie” Sykes since the very first book, Hell on Wheels, when he started belting out “Take it on the run baby.” wearing a Mr. Spock T-shirt that read 100% TREKKIE and playing the “air” drums. Yes, Ozzie was one of the characters that got me completely hooked on Black Nights Inc. and everything Julie Ann Walker.   He’s a computer geek/warrior who is always happy, joking with his fellow teammates and just your overall great guy.  But I always knew there was something more to him, something we didn’t really know and finally we get his story.

Samantha Tate is a reporter and she’s been poking around Black Nights Inc. trying to find out if they really are just a Motorcycle Shop.  Samantha and Ozzie become friends. Yes, he’s making sure she doesn’t uncover anything she shouldn’t but he also genuinely likes her.  We get front row seats to this dynamic duo’s adventure and their final fall into an HEA.

I can honestly say Wild Ride was my absolute favorite book in this series and that’s saying something because I was sure it would have been Doc’s book, Too Hard to Handle. I would highly recommend this entire series.

Thank you, Julie Ann Walker, for writing these stories, giving us these amazing characters to love and sharing your witty writing style.  I very much look forward to the next book.

More About Wild Ride:

The hero we’ve all been waiting for…

Ethan “Ozzie” Sykes
Former Navy SEAL
Underground operator for Black Knights Inc., the covert government defense firm disguised as a custom motorcycle shop

In a black-on-black international mission that went seriously sideways, Ozzie was badly injured—now he’s stuck at BKI headquarters in Chicago, champing at the bit to get out into the field again. To his disgust, he’s tasked with distracting Chicago Tribune ace reporter Samantha Tate, who’s been trying to dig up the dirt on BKI for years. Turns out Samantha’s beauty, intelligence and sense of humor are a seriously big distraction, and Ozzie’s losing his desire to keep her at bay.

Ozzie’s tired of hiding, and Samantha may be the best-and worst—person to share his secrets with…

enemy within

My FIVE Star Review:

How the hell do you review a book like this? Actually, How do you review a series like this one? Well …. My review will not include any spoilers and there are many of them. So let’s see if I can convince you to read it with this review.

First, let me say, I am completely blown away by the entire Executive Office Series.  From the very first book, Tal pulled me in with his amazing complex characters and a story full of adventure, suspense, and mystery.

I really loved how this series had two main characters, President Jack Spiers and Secret Service Agent Ethan Reichenbach, but all the secondary characters had a huge role in this story as well. All the characters played key parts all the way through each book. It’s a full ensemble cast!!  No need to wait for your favorite characters to get their own book, they are already in this one.

From the very first book, I knew Ethan and Jack’s love story was going to be one of my all time favorite romances and I was not wrong.  It was a true joy to watch the relationship between these two men change and grow in size with each book.  It would make me so happy if everyone in the entire world, no matter who they are or who they love, was able to find the kind of love and happiness these two men have.  I feel like I was lucky to be a part of it by reading this series.

Enemy Within was a heart pounding, mystery suspense, action packed adventure from beginning to end.  At one point I thought my heart was going to beat right out of my chest and in the next, it was being ripped in two.  I needed tissues to mop up my face on more than one occasion and then I couldn’t get the smile off my face.

This series is full of so much detail that the research had to be extensive.  I feel like I’ve learned so much about White House procedures, Russia, Russian Arctic, the Kara Sea, Saudi, and so much more.  I would highly recommend this series.  You will not be disappointed.

Thank you so much, Tal, for writing this story. I look forward to reading more of your stories in the future.

More About Enemy Within:

The White House, infiltrated.
The president, running for his life.
A traitorous general, intent on burning the world to the ground.

When everything falls apart, who do you trust?

President Jack Spiers fled Washington DC on the heels of a devastating attack on CIA headquarters, masterminded by one of America’s own, former General Porter Madigan. While the world believes Jack was killed in the bombing, he embarks on a wild infiltration mission, smuggling himself into occupied Russia to rescue the love of his life: former Secret Service Agent and First Gentleman Ethan Reichenbach.

Reunited, Jack, Ethan, and deposed Russian president Sergey Puchkov, along with President Elizabeth Wall—the only person left in Washington DC who Jack trusts—must work together. They piece together a desperate plan, hunting Madigan to the ends of the earth and the bitter frigidity of the Arctic, where Madigan’s world-shattering doomsday plan comes together.

Outnumbered, outmaneuvered, and outgunned, Jack, Ethan, Sergey, and the rest of the team struggle to put a stop to Madigan and his army. In the desolate extremes of the Arctic, their resolve, their strength, and even their love is tested, pushed to the absolute limits as choices must be made: choices that pit the fate of the world against the love in their hearts, and the loves of their life.

As the world crumbles around them, Jack and Ethan find themselves waging a war on two fronts—against an enemy they can see, and another, hiding within their ranks.

Who can be trusted when the enemy is within you?
