Desire is the 3rd and final book in Cait Jarrod’s Montana Dreams series. This is a New Adult novel and recommended for ages 17+. Each book can be read as a standalone novel but I would recommend reading them in order. You get more out of each one if you do.
My Five Star Review:
Desire was the last book in the Montana Dreams series and it ended up being my favorite. I absolutely loved the first book Divine, Matt and Trina’s story, but something about the way Bradley dealt with Cadence in Desire really drew me in.
To me this book had everything: it had two siblings, a brother and sister, who would move the earth to help each other, it had a main character (Bradley) who decided he was done being pushed away without any answers, and it had a woman (Cadence) dealing with a tragedy that just about broke my heart. It had self destruction but in the end it had healing as well.
I think the writing in Desire was the best I’ve read by Cait and the ending was absolutely amazing. It pulled the entire series together, including all the characters, up on Apple’s Peak in the mountains of Montana. I look forward to reading more by Cait.
About the Book:
“Cadence Duvall has a heartbreaking secret. Rather than risk rejection, she pushes away the man who taught her the true meaning of desire. Two years later, her heart still hurts and the guilt remains. She heads to Bluebird Valley, Montana, and her best friend, to bury the memories of a tragedy caused by her careless actions.
After Cadence breaks his heart, Bradley Lovett severs ties with his overbearing parents and takes a position in Florida as a horse trainer at a thoroughbred stable. An urgent phone call from his sister, begging him to help the woman he only wants to forget, sends him to Montana. When Bradley tries to help Cadence face her secrets, he finds forgiveness may be the key to their happiness.”
