Bossed by Sloane Howell is a Sports Romance with a good dose of humor and extremely witty writing.  Bossed will release on March 28, 2017, and is intended for readers 18 years and older. 

My FOUR Star Review:

I must confess, this is the first book I’ve read by Sloane Howell but it will definitely not be the last.  Bossed is the first in a standalone series with the second book Scored releasing on June 27, 2017.  Bossed is written in the first person but each chapter is written from one of the main character’s point of view which I love.

Bossed consisted of basically two main characters, Jenny Jackson and Ethan Mason but there are some secondary characters I loved as well and I’m looking forward to reading their story.

I absolutely love a strong female character and Jenny fit the bill.  From the moment I met her, I adored her and just knew that every interaction she had with Ethan going forward was going to be awesome.  At times Ethan’s inner monologue was so funny, I was laughing out loud.

This story is not just and office romance.  Yes, romance is alive and well but it is so much more.  Jenny’s life is a little complicated and Ethan’s is as well.  The way they navigate through the complications was really a joy to read.   I would highly recommend Bossed!
